Connect the Dots Watermelon

Watermelon Beach Puzzles

What You Need:

- Red, green, and black construction paper
- Scissors
- Markers
- Glue

1. Cut a large watermelon shape from red paper.
2. Cut a green curved strip for the rind and glue it to the bottom.
3. Write the letters **B-E-A-C-H** across the watermelon.
4. Cut the watermelon into sections along the letters so each piece has one letter.
5. Hide the puzzle pieces around the room or outdoor space for a **Beach Treasure Hunt!**
6. As kids find each piece, they say the letter aloud.
7. Once they have all the pieces, they put the puzzle back together to spell **BEACH!**
6. For extra fun, add black paper "seeds" with letters hidden inside for matching activities.

This craft combines letter recognition, fine motor skills, and problem-solving—all while making learning playful for preschoolers!
