1. Paper Plate Octopus

Supplies:

  • Paper plate
  • Paint or markers (purple, blue, or pink)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Googly eyes (optional)

 Steps:

  1. Color or paint the paper plate (this is the octopus body).
  2. Cut the bottom half into long strips to make tentacles.
  3. Curl the strips around a pencil to make them twisty.
  4. Add eyes and a smile.
  5. Let it dry—your octopus is ready to swim!

2. Paper Bowl Jellyfish

Supplies:

  • Paper bowl
  • Paint or markers
  • Ribbon, yarn, or streamers
  • Glue or tape
  • Googly eyes (optional)

Steps:

  1. Turn the paper bowl upside down and paint or color it.
  2. Cut pieces of ribbon or yarn for tentacles.
  3. Tape or glue them inside the bowl edge so they hang down.
  4. Add eyes and a smile on the front.
  5. Let it dry and hang it up!
