Paper Plate Sea Turtle Craft


Help kids create a cute sea turtle 

Materials:
Paper plates
Green and brown paint or markers
Scissors
Construction paper

  1. Have children paint the center of the plate green for the turtle’s shell and decorate it with brown spots or patterns.
  2. Cut four small flippers, a head, and a tail from construction paper and glue them to the edges of the plate.
  3. Once dry, kids can draw a friendly face on the turtle’s head.
  4.  Extend the learning by talking about sea turtles’ life cycle and how they travel across the ocean!

This craft supports fine motor skills, color recognition, and teaches about marine animals in an engaging, creative way!
