Supplies:

  • Paper plate
  • Green (or any color) paint or crayons
  • Construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes (optional)

Steps:

  1. Color or paint the paper plate (this will be the dinosaur’s body).
  2. Cut out shapes from construction paper: Head Tail Legs Spikes (triangles for the back)
  3. Glue everything together onto the plate.
  4. Add eyes and draw a mouth.
  5. Let it dry—your dino is ready to roar!

2. Handprint Dinosaur Art

Supplies:

  • Washable paint
  • Paper
  • Paintbrush
  • Marker
  • Wet wipes (for cleanup!)

Steps:

  1. Paint your child’s hand (any dinosaur color like green or purple).
  2. Press the hand onto paper—this makes the dinosaur body.
  3. Turn it so the thumb is the head and fingers are legs/tail.
  4. Once dry, draw details like eyes, teeth, and spikes with a marker.
  5. Add a background (trees, volcano, etc.) for extra fun!
