Watermelon Counting Game
What You Need:
- Red, green, and black construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Marker
1. Cut out a few small watermelon slices from red paper.
2. Cut out green curved strips for the rind and glue them to each slice.
3. Write different numbers 1 -10 on the watermelon slices.
4. Cut out small circles for seeds from black paper.
5. Have kids count out the correct number of seeds to match the number on the each slice.
6. Glue the seeds onto each watermelon slice to complete the game.
This activity helps preschoolers practice counting, number recognition, and develop their fine motor skills.
