This Valentine-themed number activity helps preschoolers and kindergarteners practice number recognition. Children search for hearts with the number 3 inside and color only those hearts for a fun, focused learning task.

Teaching Ideas
Use this worksheet during Valentine math centers, morning work, or small-group practice. Encourage children to point to each heart as they check the number, then color only the hearts with a 3. Kids can use crayons, markers, or even dot markers for extra fine-motor fun.
